Terms

These are the terms for using this website, and a short summary of how I work with clients. They’re written in plain English. If anything is unclear, ask me.

Using this website

You’re welcome to browse, share links and download The Brand Check for your own use. Please don’t copy the designs, images or text on this site for your own marketing without asking me first.

I keep this site as accurate and up to date as I can, but prices and services can change. A written quote is the only firm price.

Working together

Every project is covered by a written quote, a signed agreement and my Terms of Business. In short:

• A 50% deposit books your project in, and the balance is due before final files are sent.
• The quote says how many rounds of changes are included. Usually it’s two.
• Once you’ve paid in full, I transfer the copyright in your final, approved work to you in writing.
• Fonts, stock images and other people’s work are licensed, not owned, and I’ll tell you if anything needs its own licence.
• Either of us can cancel in writing. You pay for the work done up to that point.
• Monthly support is covered by a separate retainer agreement.

Work shown on this site

I only show client work with permission. Copyright in each project belongs to Kalben Creative or the client, as agreed for that project.
